Les probl\u00e8mes vicieux sont une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de probl\u00e8mes particuli\u00e8rement complexes, persistants et r\u00e9sistants qui sont couramment rencontr\u00e9s dans l’\u00e9laboration de politiques publiques et notamment dans le secteur de la sant\u00e9 publique. Les probl\u00e8mes dits \u00ab vicieux \u00bb posent un d\u00e9fi aux approches traditionnelles ou lin\u00e9aires de r\u00e9solution de probl\u00e8mes et ne peuvent \u00eatre soumis \u00e0 une solution claire et unique.

<\/span>Ce type de probl\u00e8mes est particuli\u00e8rement difficile \u00e0 r\u00e9soudre, notamment parce qu’ils sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement \u00e9troitement li\u00e9s \u00e0 d’autres questions complexes. Par exemples, les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s de sant\u00e9 peuvent \u00eatre li\u00e9es \u00e0 une multitude de probl\u00e8mes tels que la pauvret\u00e9, l’\u00e9ducation, la race et l’origine ethnique ou le genre.<\/p>\n

Wicked problems\u00a0are\u00a0particularly complex, persistent and hard-to-resolve. They are commonly encountered in public policy work, and notably within the public health sector. Wicked problems defy the usual linear approaches and are not amenable to straightforward solutions.\u00a0One of the reasons they are particularly difficult to resolve is because they are usually intertwined with other complex issues. Health inequalities, for example, may be tied to a multitude of issues such as poverty, education, race\/ethnicity or gender.

This fact sheet\u00a0defines the essential features of\u00a0wicked problems, differentiates them from other kinds of problem,\u00a0and discusses how they might be addressed.<\/p>
