The NCCHPP’s Thierno Diallo was a speaker at the Conference Climate emergency and health: from individual changes to global engagement, organized by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva.
Thierno’s presentation was entitled “Evaluating the health co-benefits of policies to fight against climate change – Case study: City of Geneva”.
This conference was presented during the health and climate week, where reflections are offered on the effects that the environment and climate change can have on health. How human behavior can alter the balance of ecosystems and increase health problems. What answers can health professionals bring and how to respond to this issue on an individual basis.
