This symposium was organized by the NCCHPP and presented at the Canadian Public Health Association (CPHA) Public Health 2022 conference.

The purpose of this symposium was to provide an overview of three NCCHPP projects on HiAP: 1) reflection and avenues for action on the implementation of the HiAP approach in the Canadian context; 2) consultation on the proposed development of a pan-Canadian HiAP network; and 3) an overview and critical assessment of existing training and training needs related to HiAP.

Supporting the Deployment of Health in All Policies (HiAP) in Canada: Implementation Prospects, Training review, and Creation of a Pan-Canadian Network.

The projects presented during this symposium build on the recommendations from the Pan-Canadian Meeting on HiAP hosted by the NCCHPP in partnership with the Public Health Agency of Canada and the ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux du Québec in October 2019.
