With the goal of sharing the various experiences that form HIA as it is practised in Canada, the NCCHPP presents information about different initiatives in the field. Among these is the PATH (People Assessing Their Health) network initiative in Nova Scotia. In 2008, the NCCHPP worked with the PATH network as they documented their different projects as well as their practice, based on citizenship linked to public policies. This report is a summary of the diverse activities documented by PATH throughout the year that sheds light on the influence of community health impact assessment (CHIA) in promoting healthy public policy.
