We are pleased to announce that Marianne Jacques has been officially appointed Scientific Lead for the NCCHPP!
For a year, Marianne has been handling the responsibilities of this position on an interim basis. Marianne would like to thank the team for their support during this transition, especially Florence Morestin, who took on the role of interim coordinator. Florence has now chosen to fully dedicate herself to her projects as a scientific advisor.
A graduate in political science with a specialization in public administration from the Université de Montréal, Marianne has over 15 years experience at the NCCHPP, first as a scientific advisor, then as coordinator. Over the years, Marianne successfully managed many key projects at the NCCHPP, including coordinating the Secretariat for the Global Network for Health in All Policies, and developing online courses on health impact assessment and public health ethics. In addition, she piloted two National Collaborating Centres for Public Health program evaluations, and two successful funding application cycles for the NCCHPP.
Feel free to contact Marianne, at ncchpp@inspq.qc.ca, for any collaboration project ideas with the NCCHPP; we are always on the lookout for partnerships to advance healthy public policies!
