This report provides an overview and a summary of the main discussions that took place during the inaugural meeting of the Canadian Network for Health in All Policies (CNHiAP), held on September 19 and 20, 2023, in Montréal.

Launched in 2022 by the NCCHPP, the Canadian Network for Health in All Policies (CNHiAP) aims to facilitate, through knowledge mobilization, the uptake and implementation of Health in All Policies (HiAP) approaches in Canada. The Network’s inaugural meeting brought together public health actors in order to set the scene for the Network’s work, discuss and confirm work priorities, and determine how Network members can work together. This report aims to summarize these discussions and by doing so, contribute to reflections on how public health actors can work collectively to improve population health and health equity.
